Congregational Assembly A Congregational Assembly will be held on Sunday, November 8 after worship to seek approval to purchase property and to authorize contract and inspection phase expenses. The seller of the 8 acre property and our Future Site TEAM have reached an agreement on price and continue to work on other terms in advance of the contract phase. Stay after worship THIS Sunday, October 25 for a brief information and Q & A time. Justification: What Does This Mean? On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses for theological debate. He never imagined what an impact they would make throughout the church and Europe. Subsequent study led Luther to a renewed understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - that people are justified by grace, for Christ's sake, through faith. This is no dead bit of history. This is the dynamic power of God's Word at work in our lives. That power burst forth in a massive Reformation of God's church and people. That reformation is still taking place in us and through us for others. Find out more this Sunday, October 25 at 10:45 a.m. 101 Pecan Drive, in Schertz [map and directions]. Just a Thought "Night and day I pondered until I saw the connection between the justice of God and the statement that 'the just shall live by his faith.' Then I grasped that the justice of God is that righteousness by which through grace and sheer mercy God justifies us through faith. Thereupon I felt myself to be reborn and to have gone through open doors into paradise." - Martin Luther Joy & Peace, P.S. For past issues or to subscribe [WordofLife4u].
