SATURDAY is Maze Day!

Join us on Saturday, November 8 for a trip to a NEW maze just outside of Marion, TX. We’ll meet at the Mitschke’s (1531 Jasmine Dr.) at 4:45 p.m. (EARLIER TIME) to carpool together for the short trip to the Schmoekel Farm. Bring a picnic supper for your family and wear tennis shoes. We’ll have a picnic on the grounds, a chance to get lost in the maze, s’mores by the campfire and, for brave souls, a chance to go back through the maze after dark! Group admission to the Maze is just $5/person (children 2 and under are free.) If you’re interested in shooting the air cannon, you’ll want to bring some quarters. You also will want to bring a flashlight and bug spray. Invite friends to come! Questions? Contact Patti Mitschke, Patti@WordofLife4u.com.

Things You Never Hear in Church

Hey! It's MY turn to sit on the front row!

I was so enthralled, I never noticed your sermon went over.

Personally, I find witnessing much more enjoyable than golf.

I've decided to give our church the $500.00 a month I used to send to TV evangelists.

I volunteer to be the permanent teacher for the Junior High Sunday School class.

I love it when we sing songs I've never heard before!

Since we're all here, let's start the worship service early!

Pastor, we'd like to send you and your wife to this Bible seminar in the Bahamas.

Nothing inspires me and strengthens my commitment like our annual stewardship campaign!

Just a Thought
