Spring Forward Don't forget to set your clocks AHEAD one hour before going to bed tonight, Saturday, March 8. Living Lent Lent originated in the very earliest days of the Church as a time to prepare for the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord. The faithful rededicated themselves to the Lord and converts were instructed in the faith. By observing the forty days of Lent, Christians re-member Jesus’ withdrawal into the wilderness for forty days and journey with Him through the tests and temptations of life to crucifixion, death, burial and glorious new life! Apathetic Fun The nice thing about apathy is you don't have to exert yourself to show you're sincere about it. Just a Thought When Jesus prayed to the one who could save him from death, he did not get that salvation; he got instead the salvation of the world. ![]() Pastor Ken Mitschke <()>< P.S.
