What God Wants
Us to BecomeGods Vision for us
(Missional Mountaintops):
1. Make a difference in the lives of children and families.
Proverbs 22:6 - Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn away from it.
James 1:27 - Pure, unstained religion, according to God our Father, is to take care of orphans and widows when they suffer and to remain uncorrupted by this world.
2. Develop infrastructure and equip people for ongoing service.
2 Timothy 2:2 - You've heard my message, and it's been confirmed by many witnesses. Entrust this message to faithful individuals who will be competent to teach others.
Ephesians 4:12-13 - Prepare God's people to serve and to build up the body of Christ. This is to continue until all of us are united in our faith and in our knowledge about God's Son, until we become mature, until we measure up to Christ, who is the standard.
3. Focus ministries to reflect our vision frame.
Philippians 2:2 - Then fill me with joy by having the same attitude and the same love, living in harmony, and keeping one purpose in mind.
Romans 15:6 - Then, having the same goal, you will praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
4. Expand mission and ministry through a mission and ministry facility.
2 Chronicles 2:6 - But who is able to build him a temple when heaven itself, the highest heaven, cannot hold him? Who am I to build him a temple except as a place to sacrifice in his presence
Matthew 16:18 - [Jesus said,] “On this rock I will build my church. And the gates of hell will not overpower it.”
The 11 terrified disciples sat in a locked room. If you looked around the room, you wouldn't take them for a bunch who were about to put the kettle of history on high boil. Uneducated. Confused. Calloused hands. Heavy accents. Few social graces. Limited knowledge of the world. No money. Undefined leadership. And on and on. No, as you looked at this motley crew, you wouldn't wager too many paychecks on their future.

A room full of men inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit turned the world upside down.
Now God is pouring His Spirit upon us.
What will we do?
