How can you be certain of anything? Especially in our time, uncertainty is insidious and pervasive. But truth and certainty can be had because they exist OUTSIDE of ourselves. That means that truth and certainty come from outside to calm our internal anxiety and fear. Only in Christ can our emotional hand-wringing stop. Only in Christ can we stop white-knuckling our lives. Only in Christ is there peace.
