“Everyone is welcome.”

We mean it – but an outsider does not experience welcome as an intention.

Welcome becomes real when someone looks up. Moves closer. Learns a name. Pulls out a chair.

This Sunday, we meet a Canaanite mother whom the disciples hear as an interruption – but whom Jesus reveals as a woman of great faith. Her cry teaches us where mercy lives, why no one is born inside grace, and what it means for the Church to welcome sinners without surrendering the truth about sin.

Come hear “We Welcome Outsiders,” from Isaiah 56, Romans 11, and Matthew 15:21–28.
