The Lost and The Found
Have you ever lost something so small it seemed silly, but you couldn’t rest until it was found? A ring. A child’s toy. A set of keys. Relief floods in when it’s back in your hands. That’s the picture Jesus gives except He’s not talking about things. He’s talking about people. About you. About me. We’ve seen Jesus humble our pride (Luke 14). We’ve counted the cost of following Him. Now, in Luke 15, He names what we really are without Him: lost. But here’s the good news – lostness isn’t the end of the story. Jesus tells us in Luke 15 that God doesn’t wait for sinners to stumble back – He searches, He carries, He restores. And when He does, all of heaven rejoices. Church is not a museum for saints…it’s a home for the lost and found. Will we, as His church, rejoice too? Join us as we trace the true journey of faith in Luke’s Gospel.
