Lie #6: God Wants You to be Happy
When we’re speaking of the so-called happiness we claim God wants us to have, could it be we’re actually referring to lust, greed and selfishness? God wants you to be happy, but happiness is NOT found in living for yourself and your sin-corrupted desire. True happiness, blessedness and joy are GIFTS from God, in Christ Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, even in suffering and trial.

Lie #5: You Only Live Once
According to the lie: “you only live once,” what you should do and why you should do it have the same motive: after this life there is nothing. It sounds free-spirited and fun, but it blinds us to the reality of heaven, hell and final judgment. The truth is heaven is my home.
