Carried Before We Could Walk
Epiphany is the season when God reveals – not demands. In these weeks, Scripture keeps pressing the same surprising truth: before we act, before we decide, before we improve or understand or commit – God has already spoken a word over us. Jesus is named Son before He preaches. Disciples are called before they believe correctly. The Church is declared light before it knows how to shine. In a world that tells us to define ourselves, curate ourselves, and prove ourselves, Epiphany teaches us to live from an identity we did not choose – but were given. This is not passive faith. It is deep discipleship: learning to walk, think, and serve from grace already received. We are named. We are called. And only then…we are sent.

Christmas Eve
This Christmas Eve we’ll hear seven prophetic and seven fulfillment Scriptures. Most of these prophecies were written at least 700 years before God came to earth as a baby in this dark, poor place. We’ll also sing eight wonderful songs which connect to the readings. Experience the promises and fulfillment of God with us. He’s come to give us real hope, peace, joy, love and most importantly, Himself!

The Gift Works
Why is Jesus the greatest gift? Discover the priceless value of the present of His presence!
God is the one for whom and through whom everything exists. Therefore, while God was bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was the right time to bring Jesus, the source of their salvation, to the end of his work through suffering.
Jesus, who makes people holy, and all those who are made holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus isn’t ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. He says, “I will tell my people about your name. I will praise you within the congregation.” In addition, Jesus says, “I will trust him.” And Jesus says, “I am here with the sons and daughters God has given me.”
Since all of these sons and daughters have flesh and blood, Jesus took on flesh and blood to be like them. He did this so that by dying he would destroy the one who had power over death (that is, the devil). In this way he would free those who were slaves all their lives because they were afraid of dying. So Jesus helps Abraham’s descendants rather than helping angels.
Therefore, he had to become like his brothers and sisters so that he could be merciful. He became like them so that he could serve as a faithful chief priest in God’s presence and make peace with God for their sins. Because Jesus experienced temptation when he suffered, he is able to help others when they are tempted. Hebrews 2:10-18 (GW)

Receiving the Gift
Too many miss the greatest gift of Christmas. The Gift is here-embrace it!
A man named Simeon was in Jerusalem. He lived an honorable and devout life. He was waiting for the one who would comfort Israel. The Holy Spirit was with Simeon and had told him that he wouldn’t die until he had seen the Messiah, whom the Lord would send. Moved by the Spirit, Simeon went into the temple courtyard. Mary and Joseph were bringing the child Jesus into the courtyard at the same time. They brought him so that they could do for him what Moses’ Teachings required. Then Simeon took the child in his arms and praised God by saying, “Now, Lord, you are allowing your servant to leave in peace as you promised.” Luke 2:25-29 (GW)
