Bring Out the Best
The bottom line in bringing out the best in your children (and people who are not you kids) is real simple: treat your kids the way your heavenly Father treats you. So, the best way to bring out the best in your kids is to:
• Accept their Uniqueness (Proverbs 22:6)
• Affirm their Value (Psalm 139:13-14 & Proverbs 12:25)
• Entrust them with Responsibility (Luke 16:10-11 & Galatians 6:5)
• Correct them without Condemning (Proverbs 19:18, 13:24, Ephesians 6:4, Ephesians 4:29)
• Love them Unconditionally (Ephesians 4:32, 1 Corinthians 13:7)
Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn away from it. Proverbs 22:6 (GW)
Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgiving each other as God has forgiven you through Christ. Ephesians 4:32 (GW)
